Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk played a role as a young actress in commercials. The Bachelor in Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, 1997. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to Los Angeles in the decade that followed 1999. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop in Los Angeles in 2007. After getting engaged in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton at the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is well-known for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale, and revealed this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk, who has been doing work on the show since the third season finale episode was conceived on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its growing popularity on social networks has grown to a huge online fan base.
