Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her character Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending practice sessions for plays. Silk appeared in several commercials when she was a kid. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated from Toronto and moved to Los Angeles within the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first was introduced to him in an actor's workshop located in Los Angeles. Following their engagement in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. On April 10 2011 they renew their vows during an Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May of 2013, and her son was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on 13 May 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to viewers of the show in an episode of the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4 of the show.
