Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress best known for playing Bo in The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was made at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences as being at play rehearsals with her mother. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials while she was an infant. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was conferred to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May 2013, a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk has played a range of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 for her performance. The role was assigned to her of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was expecting while filming the final episode of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on January 6, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season and on the 20th of June 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to return to the set of the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Because of Silk's popularity Silk has earned a significant presence on social media.
