Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase Television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also plays the role of drama instructor at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mother do her job. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a kid. The Bachelor in Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors training. Following their engagement in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows in an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13, in 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk announced to her fans that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk, who has been working on Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was first conceived on January 6 2013 on Twitter, announced her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for the year 2013.
